Dr. Siva Iyer, M.D.

Biography

Dr. Iyer, a native Floridian born and raised in Dade City, FL and a graduate of the University of Florida College of Medicine, returned to his alma mater in 2016. He completed his training experience at four different major academic institutions before joining the faculty at The University of Mississippi in 2013. Dr. Iyer’s subspecialty is Vitreoretinal Disease & Surgery. He has a special interest and particular expertise in diabetic eye disease, including advanced diabetic retinopathy and complex diabetic tractional retinal detachment repair. His other area of focus is complex retinal detachment repair including those related to severe eye trauma. Dr. Iyer sees young adult and adult patients.
